What this tool checks
The comparison is a word-and-whitespace-token difference. The left panel preserves the original text and highlights removed passages; the right preserves the revised text and highlights additions. The status counts whitespace as tokens too. It does not merge documents, upload files, inspect hidden formatting, or preserve collaborative edit history. If you need a legally or commercially significant review, use your document system’s native change-tracking and confirm the final file.
Privacy and limitations
Comparison runs entirely in JavaScript on the device. There is no server endpoint, tracking script, or document upload path. Anyone who can access your device, browser clipboard, or screen may still be able to see what you paste. Nothing is stored across reloads by this site.
